Epiroc Rebrands Surface Mining Autonomy Solutions

Epiroc has announced that its surface autonomous business will now operate under the Epiroc brand, following the full acquisition of ASI Mining earlier this year. As part of this change, the autonomous mining solution formerly known as Mobius has been renamed LinkOA, an integration platform designed to offer flexibility, scalability, and interoperability across various mining fleets and systems, regardless of manufacturer.

LinkOA will support a broader range of surface mining applications, including autonomous drills, haulage, and blasting. LinkOA for Haulage coordinates mixed fleets of autonomous trucks, while LinkOA for Drills integrates drills into a fleet-wide autonomy system to improve safety and performance. Epiroc says that this rebranding highlights their dedication to improving safety, efficiency, and productivity in the mining industry through innovative technology.
