Metso Receives Repeat Orders for Mill Lining Solutions in Africa

Metso has been awarded repeat orders to supply liners for SAG and ball mills at mining sites in Africa. The supply includes Metallic Liners for the SAG mills, and both Metallic and Megaliner™ composite linings for the Ball mills. Additional services provided include MillMapper™ liner wear monitoring, Metrics digital monitoring, onsite support and performance guarantees.

The orders, valued at around EUR 14 million, were recorded in the Minerals segment’s second and third quarters of 2024. These solutions are expected to enhance grinding efficiency, improve safety during liner installations and reduce downtime for the customer.
