Komatsu has announced the release of its new HD465-10 and HD605-10 mechanical haul trucks, offering increased fuel efficiency and productivity in mining, quarry, and aggregate applications. The HD465-10 is a 60-ton machine, while the HD605-10, with a 70-ton capacity, is built for reliability and operator comfort, featuring a tight turning radius, enhanced cabin ergonomics, and improved speed on grade performance.
Both models incorporate innovations such as MacPherson-strut-type independent front suspension, fuel regulation modes, and automatic retard speed control. Maintenance features include LED lighting, maintenance-free batteries, and Komatsu Oil and Wear Analysis (KOWA) sampling ports for easier upkeep.
