FLSmidth has been awarded a contract to supply nine thickeners and six filters to a new lithium project in Nevada, USA. The project aims to employ efficient processing technologies with minimal environmental impact. Lithium is essential for batteries used in the electric vehicle industry, and FLSmidth has significant expertise in lithium processing.
The order, valued at approximately DKK 340 million, was booked in Q3 2024. According to the company, the FLSmidth equipment is scheduled for delivery during 2025/2026 and is expected to offer long-term service opportunities.
